I am a US Army Veteran who spent many years after military life doing residential remodel and repairs where most of my work was done in remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, framing and drywall for new additions and running electrical and plumbing for these projects. I also spent a few years as a diesel mechanic for heavy duty construction equipment which was a great experience, and I loved every minute of it but after Covid I made the choice to strike out on my own path and create a company for myself so I could still provide for my family and make more time for them since the Diesel mechanic industry is very demanding physically and is time intensive. I spent many long days doing what I loved but seeing my family very little since most equipment is located on jobsite (It would be pretty hard to fit a full size construction equipment in my house, lol) so with Rock Solid Handyman Services I am circling back to a trade I am very skilled in but allows me the time to manage my schedule to optimize my skills and a healthy balance of family life.
